Our commitment

«Great Wings Tours is a tourist enterprise based in the are of La Fortuna, in San Carlos, Costa Rica. It is a new project that runs diversity of tours in this beautiful area and it is managed for a local tour guide named Gustavo Rojas. He is a passionated naturalis and birding guide, who has more than thirteen years of experience and decided to open it’s own turist business.

We guarantee personalized experiences and unforgettable memories, allowing you to discover the magic and biodiversity of the incredible Costa Rica.

Extraordinary Experiences

During the day, you’ll scout the rainforest near the Arenal Volcano to spot two- and three-toed sloths, toucans, and brightly colored frogs [Bogarin Trail]. The tour features high-definition spotting scopes to snap crisp wildlife photos directly through your phone, with a local guide tailoring the pace entirely to your private group.

At night, you’ll head into the woods with flashlights for some incredible macro photography, tracking down active nocturnal wildlife like snakes, tarantulas, and the iconic red-eyed tree frog. For an all-day adventure, you can bundle the trip to hike the Mistico hanging bridges and cool off with a swim at the La Fortuna Waterfall.
